The Grandest Mughal Garden
Built in 1633 by Asif Khan, elder brother of Empress Nur Jahan, Nishat Bagh is the largest Mughal garden in Kashmir. The twelve terraces represent the twelve zodiac signs, cascading down towards Dal Lake with the majestic Zabarwan Mountains as its backdrop.
